Crystal joined Horizon CPA as Associate Accountant in 2021 and received her CPA designation in 2024. She spent her childhood on a dairy farm north of Rimbey, Alberta before moving to an acreage near Gull Lake. Crystal earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Mount Royal University in 2021 and entered the CPA Professional Education Program the same year.

Crystal has held a variety of positions spanning fourteen years involving different minor aspects of the accounting process and is now immersed in learning the full business accounting and tax cycle. Crystal is a proficient and experienced bookkeeper familiar with multiple online and desktop accounting solutions as well as more traditional bookkeeping methods. She has a high aptitude for new technologies and a passion for introducing others to easier and more efficient solutions for everyday tasks.

Crystal lives in Blackfalds with her husband, three sons and dog. In her spare time she enjoys exercise, camping and hiking in summer and skiing and skating in winter. As a self-labeled Sci-Fi nerd, she also enjoys long nights spent playing board games with family and friends and video games with her boys.
