Rafael joined Horizon in 2024 as an Accounting Technician. Prior to working in the field of finance, he worked in sales for companies such SAP, Bell, and GuardRFID. He completed his Accounting Program with Douglas College in British Columbia while working for CPA Firm located in Vancouver.

He enjoys combining his sales and customer service experience with his accounting work to better understand the client’s business, resolve issues, ensure the client leaves with an above average experience, and guaranteed partnership.

Rafael spends his free time thrift shopping and volunteering with the Youth Ministry at Robertson-Wesley United Church in Edmonton.
