Tanner joined Horizon in 2022. Tanner grew up on an acreage near Gibbons, Alberta. After completing high school at Sturgeon Composite High School, Tanner completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta. Tanner is currently pursuing his CPA designation at the CPA Western School of Business, with an expected completion date in 2025. Tanner has successfully navigated various industries, bringing a hands-on approach to solving complex issues. His experience spans sectors such as agriculture and construction, where he has demonstrated a meticulous understanding of business and a strong work ethic.

When outside of the accounting world, Tanner has a wide range of interests including hockey, surfing, golf, snowboarding, and hiking. He also has an interest in following the financial landscape of the world, and teaching people about finance to achieve their goals.
